Before you install
DutyPoint Terms
Please read this carefully before continuing to install.
Free trial · $19.99 AUD/month after
DutyPoint starts with a free trial — no card required up front. After the trial, the subscription is $19.99 AUD/month per ServiceM8 company, billed externally from ServiceM8 via Over Geek. A Manage billing link inside the DutyPoint settings takes you to your billing portal.
Heads up: ServiceM8 may show an "unverified" warning
When you click install, ServiceM8 may display a warning that the add-on hasn’t been verified by them yet. That’s normal for add-ons installed directly via the developer rather than from the official ServiceM8 Add-on Store.
Always be cautious about these warnings and only accept and enable trusted add-ons. Please review our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions, and if you have any questions please reach out.
Want your branding on the reports? $199 one-off
Reports use our clean default design out of the box. If you’d like your company’s colours and logo across the PDF report and the in-app form, we’ll set up a custom template for a one-off $199 AUD. Reach out to [email protected] with your logo and colour palette to get it done.
Important: stop billing before you uninstall
ServiceM8 does not notify add-on developers when you uninstall an add-on. If you uninstall DutyPoint without first cancelling your subscription via the Manage billing portal, your card will keep being charged.
If you’d prefer to contact us to stop billing instead of using the portal yourself, please give us a few business days’ notice before your next charge date so we can cancel it in time and avoid an unwanted charge. Reach out at [email protected].
How billing works
- Every new install gets a free trial automatically — no payment required to start.
- Inside the DutyPoint settings you’ll see a countdown of the days remaining and an Add billing / Manage billing link.
- After the trial ends, the subscription is $19.99 AUD/month per ServiceM8 company, billed through Over Geek’s billing portal — not through your ServiceM8 invoice.
- If you don’t add billing details before the trial ends, DutyPoint will stop generating new reports. Reports already saved to your ServiceM8 jobs are never affected.
- Custom branding is a separate $199 AUD one-off, invoiced by Over Geek when you request it — not part of the monthly subscription.
- Cancel anytime from the Manage billing page — your ServiceM8 data is never touched.
What DutyPoint does — and doesn’t
- Reads job, client, site and attachment data from ServiceM8 to prefill the flow-test form.
- Saves your entered readings, pin coordinates and photos against the job so tests can be recalled, edited and regenerated later.
- Generates a PDF report and attaches it to the ServiceM8 job’s files automatically.
- Uploads any photos you take from the in-app form to the ServiceM8 job diary.
- Doesn’t store your ServiceM8 job data on Over Geek servers beyond what’s needed to run the test and generate the report — see our Privacy Policy for the specifics.
Permissions
DutyPoint requests the ServiceM8 OAuth scopes it needs to read the current job, its client and site, and to write attachments (photos and the generated PDF report) back to the job. We never share your data with anyone outside Over Geek. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
By clicking "I understand & install", you acknowledge:
- DutyPoint starts with a free trial and then becomes a $19.99 AUD/month per ServiceM8 company subscription.
- Billing is handled externally from ServiceM8 via Over Geek — it does not affect your ServiceM8 subscription.
- Custom branding is optional and priced separately at $199 AUD one-off.
- Uninstalling does not cancel billing — you need to stop billing yourself via the Manage billing portal, or contact us with a few days’ notice before your next charge.
- You can cancel and uninstall at any time without losing your ServiceM8 data.
