JobSplit Terms
Please read this carefully before continuing to install.
14-day free trial, then $8.99 AUD/month
JobSplit is free for 14 days, then $8.99 AUD/month per ServiceM8 company, billed externally from ServiceM8 via Over Geek. It doesn’t change your ServiceM8 plan.
Runs from the job card on desktop
Once installed, open any job in ServiceM8 on desktop and click JobSplit. The first person to open it becomes its admin and can change the settings and add other admins.
Heads up: ServiceM8 may show an "unverified" warning
When you click install, ServiceM8 may display a warning that the add-on hasn’t been verified by them yet. That’s normal for add-ons installed directly via the developer rather than from the official ServiceM8 Add-on Store.
Always be cautious about these warnings and only accept and enable trusted add-ons. Please review our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions, and if you have any questions please reach out.
Cancel your subscription before you disconnect
Cancel your subscription from inside JobSplit (Settings → Billing → Manage billing) before you disconnect or uninstall it. ServiceM8 doesn’t tell us when an add-on is disconnected, so if you skip this step you’ll keep being billed. Having trouble? Let us know and we’ll sort it out.
What JobSplit does — and doesn’t
- Creates a new job in ServiceM8 and moves the line items and description text you choose onto it. The client, site, address, category, status and job contacts start as the original job’s.
- Reduces or removes the moved items on the original job, and removes moved description text only if you choose to.
- Adds a diary entry to both jobs linking them, and can send you a ServiceM8 notification. Both can be turned off in Settings.
- Keeps no copy of your jobs. Job data is read from and written to ServiceM8 while you use it.
- Only your JobSplit settings and admin list are stored on Over Geek’s server. See our Privacy Policy for the specifics.
Permissions
JobSplit requests the ServiceM8 OAuth scopes it needs to read and create jobs, read and update job materials and job contacts, read clients, client contacts, job categories and staff, add diary entries and create notifications. We never share your data with anyone outside Over Geek. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
By clicking "I understand & install", you acknowledge:
- JobSplit includes a 14-day free trial, then is a $8.99 AUD/month per ServiceM8 company subscription.
- Billing is handled externally from ServiceM8 via Over Geek — it does not affect your ServiceM8 subscription.
- JobSplit changes the original job when you confirm a split: moved items are reduced or removed from it.
- Disconnecting does not cancel billing — cancel your subscription from inside JobSplit first.
- You can cancel and uninstall at any time without losing your ServiceM8 data.
