SpotCheck Terms

Please read this carefully before continuing to install.

$9.99 AUD/month

SpotCheck is $9.99 AUD/month per ServiceM8 company, billed externally from ServiceM8 via Over Geek. It doesn’t change your ServiceM8 plan.

Works with the ServiceM8 forms you already use

Each spotcheck is built on one of your existing ServiceM8 forms — a vehicle check, PPE check, toolbox talk and so on. The form doesn’t need to be attached to a job. If you don’t have the form yet, create it in ServiceM8 first.

Heads up: ServiceM8 may show an "unverified" warning

When you click install, ServiceM8 may display a warning that the add-on hasn’t been verified by them yet. That’s normal for add-ons installed directly via the developer rather than from the official ServiceM8 Add-on Store.

Always be cautious about these warnings and only accept and enable trusted add-ons. Please review our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions, and if you have any questions please reach out.

Important: uninstalling doesn’t stop billing

ServiceM8 does not notify add-on developers when you uninstall an add-on. Before you uninstall SpotCheck, please contact us at [email protected] so we can stop your subscription — ideally a few business days before your next charge date.

What SpotCheck does — and doesn’t

  • Reads the form submissions your staff already make in ServiceM8 and shows who has and hasn’t done each check.
  • Sends ServiceM8 notifications: reminders to staff who are outstanding, and issue alerts to the people you choose when a check comes in with failed answers.
  • Keeps no copy of your submissions. Answers and photos are read from ServiceM8 when you open them.
  • Only your SpotCheck settings — your checks, options, access and the reminder log — are stored on Over Geek’s server. See our Privacy Policy for the specifics.
  • Never edits your forms, jobs or staff records.

Permissions

SpotCheck requests the ServiceM8 OAuth scopes it needs to read your forms and form submissions, staff, jobs, schedule and attachments (for the photos), and to create notifications for reminders and issue alerts. We never share your data with anyone outside Over Geek. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

By clicking "I understand & install", you acknowledge:

  • SpotCheck is a $9.99 AUD/month per ServiceM8 company subscription.
  • Billing is handled externally from ServiceM8 via Over Geek — it does not affect your ServiceM8 subscription.
  • SpotCheck works from your existing ServiceM8 forms; it doesn’t create or change them.
  • Uninstalling does not cancel billing — contact us before you uninstall so we can stop your subscription.
  • You can cancel and uninstall at any time without losing your ServiceM8 data.
